Squash Cappelletti

We welcome the Fall season with brand new specials created by Novo Executive chef Randy Fontana. Headlining our October Specials is our house-made Cappelletti stuffed with a delicious mixture of squash, ricotta and parmesan. Finished in a delicious brown butter - hazelnut - sage sauce, this pasta special is a head-turner you won’t want to miss!

Grilled Salmon with Chanterelles

On the specials board for the month of October is our grilled Spring Salmon that comes gilded with the tastiest – locally foraged – chanterelles, compliments of Ponderosa Mushrooms. It also arrives with the daintiest dollops of carrot purée and a side of grilled zucchini from Hannah Brook farms. A vibrant dish that is local, in-season and quintessentially Fall. If you happen to be a lover of fish, look no further. It’s utterly delicious — Novo promise!

The mighty chicken (under a brick) is back!

Featured previously as a special, our beloved free-run, brick-roasted half chicken is back. Marinated with fennel pollen, fennel seeds and chilis before hitting the skillet under the weight of a brick — a method that keeps the chicken juicy & tender on the inside and extremely crispy on the outside — our Chicken Under A Brick arrives with roast baby potatoes, rapini and an oh-so-rich pan jus.

A Crispy Contorno – Brussels Sprouts

A plate full of texture and Fall flavor; This delectable contorno of roasted Brussels Sprouts arrives with Medjool dates, capers and chilis -- seasoned with white balsamic vinegar.

Pumpkin Pie

Just in time for Thanksgiving! Will you be able to resist our Pumpkin Pie? Give our Tiramisu a rest – for once! – and indulge in our house-made Pumpkin Pie served with a hefty dollop of whipped cream. What better way to end a Fall Feast? Buon appetito!

La Stella Fortissimo / Okanagan Valley 2020

A Tuscan-inspired wine from LaStella winery located in the Okanagan Valley, the Stella Fortissimo brandishes layers of fruit and savory flavors; Bing cherry mingles with red and black cherry fruit and there are also notes of aromatic herbs and cured tobacco leaves. Crafted with a mixture of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese and Cabernet Franc, the savory profile in this wine is even more accentuated with this 2020 vintage.

Kale Salad with Delicata Squash

Perhaps the sweetest, most delicate variety of kale, Cavalo Nero is toothsome and packed full of flavor. Our fan-favorite Kale Salad returns to our specials board this October, featuring sweet and crispy slices of roasted delicata squash. Dressed with a pomegranate & citrus vinegar and topped with Pecorino Romano cheese, pomegranate & pumpkin seeds. This one’s a hearty, vibrant salad that lets the kale shine.

Featured Wine | 2020 Robin Ridge Pinot Noir [Certified organic]

A certified organic wine that pairs perfectly with Italian food, the family-operated Robin Ridge established in 1997 is located in the stunning Similkameen Valley. The 2020 Robin Ridge Pinot Noir has notes of vibrant raspberry, red cherry, orange zest & clove with complex Asian spices and dried flowers, brandishing a light, fresh and juicy texture.

Sausage Orecchiette

Puglia in a bowl. A permanent fixture on our menu, our house-made orecchiette comes loaded with the most delicious morsels of Salsiccia fresca [fresh Italian sausage with wild fennel & Calabrian chilis]. Finished with generous shavings of Parmigiano-Reggiano and topped with pangrattato for that crunchy mouthfeel! Enjoy!

Chorizo Salami & Chili Honey Pizza

Piccante e dolce. Each slice of our wood-fired Chorizo Salami & Chili Honey Pizza arrives with a sizable dollop of whipped ricotta. Finished with drizzles of Calabrian chili honey, this wood-fired beauty is spicy -- and a little sweet. Buon appetito!

Tiramisu

That sweet pick-me-up! What’s a better ending to a meal than a delightful Tiramisu with a couple of espressos – or grappa! And don’t forget, sharing is caring!

New Beer – 33 Acres of Sunshine | French Blanche

How about a beloved local beer that pairs perfectly with Italian? The French Blanche by 33 Acres is a fruity & hazy blonde beer packed with aromas of orange peel, coriander and black liquorice. With a sweet and smooth aftertaste, it pairs perfectly with our share plates and wood-fired Pizza. Give it a go next time you swing by for lunch or dinner!

A Novo Classic, Beef Carpaccio.

It’s that one dish that is shared the most by our guests. Delicately sliced raw Prime Beef served with dollops of lemon aioli, fresh arugula and Pecorino Romano cheese. Also worth noting: each plate of Beef Carpaccio arrives with a side of warm focaccia straight out of our wood-burning oven! Mangiamo tutti!

Fettuccine con Funghi

The power of umami compels you! Meaty, delicious, locally sourced mushrooms take center stage with our signature Fettuccine con Funghi. We start by sauteing the mushrooms with garlic and calabrian chili flakes and add the finishing touches with thyme oil, lemon juice, parsley, sun-dried tomatoes and Pecorino Romano cheese. Mangia bene!

Prosciutto & Arugula Pizza

Straight from our wood-burning oven, the Prosciutto & Arugula Pizza comes loaded with delicate slices of Prosciutto di Parma and is topped with fresh arugula, fresh mozzarella and Parmigiano-Reggiano.

New Beer – 33 Acres of Sunshine | French Blanche
