Specials for the month of October

Squash Cappelletti

We welcome the Fall season with brand new specials created by Novo Executive chef Randy Fontana. Headlining our October Specials is our house-made Cappelletti stuffed with a delicious mixture of squash, ricotta and parmesan. Finished in a delicious brown butter - hazelnut - sage sauce, this pasta special is a head-turner you won’t want to miss!

Grilled Salmon with Chanterelles

On the specials board for the month of October is our grilled Spring Salmon that comes gilded with the tastiest – locally foraged – chanterelles, compliments of Ponderosa Mushrooms. It also arrives with the daintiest dollops of carrot purée and a side of grilled zucchini from Hannah Brook farms. A vibrant dish that is local, in-season and quintessentially Fall. If you happen to be a lover of fish, look no further. It’s utterly delicious — Novo promise!

The mighty chicken (under a brick) is back!

Featured previously as a special, our beloved free-run, brick-roasted half chicken is back. Marinated with fennel pollen, fennel seeds and chilis before hitting the skillet under the weight of a brick — a method that keeps the chicken juicy & tender on the inside and extremely crispy on the outside — our Chicken Under A Brick arrives with roast baby potatoes, rapini and an oh-so-rich pan jus.

A Crispy Contorno – Brussels Sprouts

A plate full of texture and Fall flavor; This delectable contorno of roasted Brussels Sprouts arrives with Medjool dates, capers and chilis -- seasoned with white balsamic vinegar.

Pumpkin Pie

Just in time for Thanksgiving! Will you be able to resist our Pumpkin Pie? Give our Tiramisu a rest – for once! – and indulge in our house-made Pumpkin Pie served with a hefty dollop of whipped cream. What better way to end a Fall Feast? Buon appetito!

La Stella Fortissimo / Okanagan Valley 2020

A Tuscan-inspired wine from LaStella winery located in the Okanagan Valley, the Stella Fortissimo brandishes layers of fruit and savory flavors; Bing cherry mingles with red and black cherry fruit and there are also notes of aromatic herbs and cured tobacco leaves. Crafted with a mixture of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese and Cabernet Franc, the savory profile in this wine is even more accentuated with this 2020 vintage.
