Specials for the month of December

Radicchio & Fennel Salad

Crisp and sharp, beautifully bitter. Here’s a delicious feature for the month of December that showcases local radicchio, fennel, arugula, Granny Smith apples and candied walnuts. Dressed with our house-made vinaigrette, drizzled with vincotto and served with shavings of Pecorino Romano. A simple, vibrant salad that beckons the appetite before the main proceedings.

Squash Cappelletti

A rare occurrence at Novo; Due to popular demand, we are carrying over our house-made Cappelletti as a Special into the month of December. These house-made Cappelletti come stuffed with a delicious mixture of squash, ricotta and parmesan and are finished in a delicious brown butter - hazelnut - sage sauce. A guaranteed head-turner you won’t want to miss… again!

Pizza Verdura Cotta

A permanent fixture that happens to be a deliciously vegetarian option from our wood-burning oven; The Verdura Cotta. With fresh mozzarella, artichokes, marinated & roasted red peppers, pickled onions, chives and goat cheese. Featured Wine | Narrative Cabernet Franc 2017

From the minds of Christine Coletta and Steve Lornie’s Okanagan Crush Pad – a family-run winery in the heart of Summerland, BC – Narrative Cabernet Franc 2017 is a delightful, medium-bodied wine aged in Nico Velo tanks for 8 months. Crafted from Cabernet Franc grapes grown in Kaleden and Osoyoos, this beautiful wine boasts a unique freshness and earthiness with strong notes of red fruit. Please sip away at it this month of December.
