SCARPINOCC CON QUATTRO FORMAGGI

Tutti i colori! Our favourite pasta [with a dimple] has finally landed. With origins in Lombardy, Scarpinocc [derived from Scarpa in Italian, meaning Shoe] are most often enjoyed with a cheese filling. We stick to the tradition, stuffing our multi-coloured scarpinocc with a mixture of mozzarella, fontina, ricotta and gorgonzola. Our Four Cheese Scarpinocc are finished in a rich cream sauce, topped off with morsels of roasted walnuts and drizzles of vincotto. Don’t let the colours fool you, for flavour is eternal !

NEW WINE

Made predominantly from the Negroamaro grape variety, the Paololeo Salice Salentino is a Puglian wine by fourth-generation Cantine Paololeo. This round and full-bodied wine boasts a pronounced bouquet of black fruits and black pepper, with hints of licorice and vanilla, with a lingering finish of blackcurrant and spices. Selected to pair perfectly with all Novo December Specials.
